I'm Denisse

& this is my story

About Me

I’m a photographer, writer, and mother of two girls. I'm originally from the tristate area, but now live on the Gulf Coast. I’ve spent the last 15+ years behind the lens, chasing light, color, and the quiet moments that tell beautiful & unique stories. Along the way, I’ve been honored to receive awards for my work, as well as features in publications such as Vogue, The Knot, Elle Magazine, & more.
My work blends documentary and editorial styles. Whether I'm photographing a wedding, a family, or capturing a lifestyle session, I care deeply about what’s real. The emotion, the in-between, & the beauty you might miss if you blink.

AS SEEN IN
My Process

1.Fill out the form

It all starts with a conversation. You’ll fill out my contact form and tell me a little about what you’re envisioning. I’ll follow up so we can chat details, get to know each other, and make sure we’re a great fit.

2.Plan the magic

Once we’re booked, we’ll map out the session. This includes location, timing, styling tips, and all the little things that help bring your vision to life while keeping the vibe relaxed and true to you.

3.Shoot Day

This is where the magic unfolds. No stiff poses here. Just movement, connection, and moments as they naturally happen. I’ll guide you gently while giving you space to just be. It'll be fun!

4.Your Story Delivered

Within a few weeks, you'll receive a curated gallery filled with beautiful images that feel like you. Timeless, real, and ready to be treasured forever. My gallery also includes a shop where you can order physical products.

My
Why
Photography, for me, has always been about connection. It’s a way to slow down, pay attention, and honor what’s real. Whether I’m photographing a family, a brand, or a solo portrait, I want you to feel seen. My why is simple: to hold space for your story, exactly as it unfolds, and to give you images that help you remember not just how it looked, but how it felt.

I believe the most powerful photos aren’t the perfectly posed ones. They’re the quiet in-betweens. The way your child rests their head on your shoulder. The way you laugh with your partner. The way your presence alone tells a story. My work is about preserving that kind of magic. The fleeting, beautiful moments that feel like home.
